Distilling Essential Oils Workshops

From Bush to the Bottle workshops.

We start the day by harvesting leaves or flowers from the 100 acre bush property on the banks of the Murray River. Fire up the traditional Portugese Copper Alembic Still and watch the essential oils and floral waters flow. We introduce the benefits and uses of the essential oils and hydrosols. Lots of discussion.and singing sometimes!

Depending on the season, we may pick eucalypt leaves or myrtle stems from the bush; flowers, fruits or leaves from the citrus orchard or native herbs from the edges of the lagoon .

We lunch on the banks of the lagoon as nature struts her stuff. We distill, bottle, label the essential oil and floral waters and then we put your signature on your personal samples. From the bush to the bottle

At the end of the day, participants will take home a sample of essential oil and  floral water/hydrosol that we have created and gain a new appreciation for essential oils and hydrosols.
